I worked up the presentation for this bed in CAD, from which I exported and printed full sized templates for shaping the curveson a friend's design jet.

The headboard and footboard had to be constructed like airplane wings to keep them stable. I splined and coopered the irregular curves. The wood is red oak. the frame is a surround for a water bed.
